    Staking terms

    Rewards, claims, and staking terms

Review how APR, reward terms, claims, additional deposits, renewals, and unstaking apply to a WStaking position.

    Understanding displayed APR

APR is an annualized rate used to describe the reward terms available for a staking option. It is not the amount a user will receive immediately and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed investment return.

The applicable APR may depend on the selected asset, network, staking term, and contract version. Users should confirm the APR and position details shown in the wallet and WStaking interface before approving a transaction.

The actual reward amount depends on the deposited amount, elapsed staking time, applicable reward rules, position changes, claims, and any early-unstaking conditions.

    When reward terms are fixed

A staking position is created using the terms shown when the transaction is submitted. These terms may include the selected asset, amount, duration, APR, lock period, and early-unstaking conditions.

Changes to plans or reward settings normally apply to new staking positions. Existing positions should be checked against their recorded contract data and the rules of their contract version.

    How rewards are handled

Reward information is displayed according to the rules applicable to the selected staking position. The source of that information may differ by contract version and may involve both on-chain data and WStaking operational systems.

Users should review the position details shown in the application and verify relevant on-chain records where available. A displayed reward amount may remain subject to claim conditions, wallet approval, contract execution, and blockchain confirmation.

    Before staking

Confirm the following information before creating a position:

    • Selected asset and blockchain network
    • Contract address
    • Deposit amount and wallet address
    • Displayed APR and staking duration
    • Lock period and expected unlock date
    • Claim conditions
    • Early-unstaking rules and penalties, where applicable
    • Risk disclosure and current contract version

    Claims and position changes

Claims, additional deposits, renewals, full unstaking, and partial unstaking are available only where supported by the relevant contract version and product configuration.

A claim is completed only after the required wallet transaction and blockchain confirmation. Claim availability and completion can also depend on the position state, contract rules, and any operational checks used by the product.

Adding funds is available only when the position exposes add-fund eligibility. The resulting position data, reward fields, timing, and other terms should be checked after the add-fund transaction because behavior can depend on the contract version.

Full unstaking closes the applicable position. Partial unstaking reduces the staked amount where that function is supported; the effect on rewards and the remaining position follows the contract rules for that position.

Where the unlock-request flow is enabled, an unstaking request can begin a seven-day processing period before the final wallet transaction. The request may be released early when the applicable process allows it, and the user must return to sign the unstaking transaction.

    • Check the selected term before staking
    • Review whether early-unstake penalties apply
    • Confirm whether partial unstaking is supported
    • Check the position again after adding funds or renewing
    • Review wallet prompts before signing

    Operational and contract limitations

Not every function is available on every network or contract version. Users should review the current contract references and version information before creating or modifying a position.

Some actions may depend on WStaking operational systems or administrative processing in addition to blockchain execution. Where this applies, completion may not be immediate after the initial request.

Blockchain confirmation does not remove smart-contract, liquidity, market, operational, counterparty, or regulatory risk.

    Supported assets and networks

WStaking supports selected assets on specific blockchain networks. Availability may differ by network, contract version, and active product configuration.

Before staking, verify that the selected asset, network, and contract address match the contract references published by WStaking.

For current availability, use the application and contract-reference page rather than relying on examples shown in older documentation.
