Operating model
When a user creates a staking position, the connected wallet submits a transaction to the relevant WStaking contract. The contract records position data such as the supported asset, deposited amount, selected staking term, timestamps, APR and reward fields, transaction identifier, and action state defined by that contract version.
WStaking uses a hybrid operating model. Smart contracts provide on-chain records and enforce the functions implemented in each deployed contract, while some reward display and operational processes rely on WStaking systems outside the blockchain.
The exact behavior may differ by network and contract version. Before approving a wallet request, users should confirm the active contract address, contract version, staking term, and transaction details.
